We at Grace are blessed to have Dave Pfeifer build a banner closet and storage shelves for the church in the far front storage area behind the altar. We have also been blessed to receive the banners from Grace Lutheran, Newton, when the congregation disbanded. At the January 2012 Ladies' Aid meeting, we took out all the banners and sorted them by church year. Then they were put away in the new closet by church year and number. We also thought it will be useful to have photos of each banner so that we can evaluate the banners.
Below is a gallery of the 35 banners starting with the Advent season.

Sunday Snacks

Grace Evangelical Lutheran offers a snack time at the beginning of the Sunday school and Bible classes each week. There is a sign-up sheet on the table in the addition for people to bring in snacks. There are two spaces for each week, on the sign-up sheet, as we need about 4 dozen items each week between the children and adults. Also, with regard to those who sign-up to bring treats for the adults on Sundays, we would like to ask you to be responsible for cleaning up after the fellowship time, if possible. If you can't stay, would you please ask someone to do it for you. The coffee will be made before each church service, but clean-up after will be the responsibility of those that serve. Thank you from the Grace Ladies' Aid.
