Earlier in 2009, the Voter's Assembly decided to borrow money to replace the roof of the church. The last shingling job was beginning to wear out and the incentive to add insulation to the sanctuary roof was a cost savings to the church. The voters decided to insulate the sanctuary with 4" of foam panels and use Decra steel shingles. The new addition roofline was re-sheeted to match the older portion of the church for aesthetics.
