Grace and peace be with you all!

Lord willing we will get rid of a little of this ice by Sunday.  This is the third Sunday in Epiphany.  Our service theme will be: Jesus reveals himself as the Lord's anointed.  The sermon text is taken from John 4:5-26 which tells of the conversion of the Samaritan woman at Jacob's well.  Our choir will sing this Sunday; "If You But Trust in God To Guide You."  I look forward to worshipping with you this Sunday.

As you are aware, the Lord called to his eternal rest the soul of Dr. Terry Fitzpatrick on Monday.  A graveside service will be held this Saturday.  We remember Nancy and her family in our prayers.

Sunday afternoon a group of Young People and some adult chaperones will be attending a Christian concert in Des Moines.  Brian and Darcy Crile are leading his outing.  If you have any questions about this outing,  give them a call.

I would like to visit a few minutes on Sunday with the parents of my catechism class.  There is a good possibility I may not be here next week.  My mother's health hasn't been too good.  I may go and spend a couple days with her.

God be with you the rest of the week.  See you Sunday!

"Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the desert, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life."  Jn 3:14,15

In Christ,
