March 7th Lenten Service
Written by Pastor Neumann
Sunday, 07 March 2010 14:08
The sermon for the 7th day of March, 2010 and the 3rd week in Lent, centers on the sermon text found in Lk 13:1-9 which finds Jesus before the Counsel of Elders. Here we find that the Jewish leaders try ever measure possible to bring charges against Jesus, but fail to do so until Jesus tell them who he is, the Son of God. For today's sermon, we learn first that people often mock what they can not understand and secondly, the Jesus truly was the Son of God.

Written by Pastor Neumann
Wednesday, 24 February 2010 22:23
For the third Sunday in Lent, we hear the story of Peter's denial of our Lord Jesus Christ, reflecting on the many times were are caught up in a worldly crowd where we fear the expression of our faith. The sermon text is from Lk 22:54-62. The questions we ask ourselves are these. Number one, why was Peter in the place where he was? Number two, what blessings were received through this event of Peter's denial?
