The sermon text was taken from John 4:5-26 which tells of the conversion of the Samaritan woman at Jacob's well. In the sermon, we learn again clearly the purpose of the law and gospel. The law shows us our sins and the need for a Savior. The Gospel gives us the saving message of Jesus Christ, as our Messiah.

Incorporated into the sermon message is a memorial message for Terry Fitzpatrick, who passed to his heavenly home on January 19th, 2010. The message is a blessing as we hear about how our baptism makes us part of God's kingdom and brings the Holy Spirit to work in us. Let us listen to the sermon audio here.
