On this the 7th Sunday in Easter, our sermon message is taken from the New Testament synoptic gospel of Luke 24:44-53, where we find that indeed the Word of Salvation is complete. Today we hear the great and wonderful news that heaven is open for all and that the Lord is awaiting us there. We also know that although Jesus has ascended, he does not leave us on our own. He continues to send the Spirit to offer salvation full and free as He awaits us in heaven.
